Keeping Time

At least I’m pretty sure it’s 21.

At this point, I see the ridiculousness of my project. This week, I’m down to an hour a day, which is honestly not enough time for anyone, not just a geek like myself. However, I have decided to stay the course and keep chugging along.

To keep myself busy, I’ve just been doing the same old thing. I think this week I’m going to have to force myself to read my book, as I’m still only about four chapters into Invisible Monsters. I’m pretty sure I’m almost done with Half-Life 2: Episode 1, and I look forward to finishing that up, then going through Episode 2 before Mario Kart and Grand Theft Auto IV come out, and I’ll probably plug a lot of time into GTA, which will be the first GTA I’ve ever really played. Normally I just put on as many cheats as I can and just see how long I can cause havoc.

Musically, I picked out a few albums last night. Let me go through and list them:

• Fuck Buttons – Street Horrrsing
  
• Tapes ‘n Tapes – Walk It Off
• Moby – Last Night
• The Black Keys – Attack and Release

Truth be told, this is only a handful of the albums I’ve obtained recently, but the ones listen are the only “new new” ones that I’ve been listening to. So far, Walk It Off has really been a mixed bag. I never listened to The Loon all that much, but nothing about Walk It Off really sticks out. Also, any band with “fuck” in their title just confuses me. They also all like to stick to electro/noise music. Who’da thunk?
