Keeping Time

I’m just not sure at this point.

Let’s make this quick and easy, so I can get to my main point.

• Beat Half-Life 2: Episode 1. I’m going to finish up Call of Duty 4, then plug away at Episode 2.
• Picked up Juno.
• Getting used to a new car is an odd process.
• MusicBrainz = best thing ever.

Now let me make the point that I originally wanted to make.

Now maybe it’s the fact that I’ve never really listened to a Moby album before, but sweet Jesus, could we have a little variety here? Yes, I understand that all techno music is is just a sound byte playing over a 15-second loop, but normally the combination just doesn’t seem so…average. Everything about this album is just so textbook dance/techno. Is Last Night a bad album? No. But at the same time, if Moby hadn’t made it, I have a hard time thinking that it would even reach mediocre success. If you like techno, by all means, give the album a listen. Some of the beats are actual pretty decent, but after a while you get lost in the music, wondering if its the beginning or the end of the song, which just doesn’t fly in my book.
