…being under 21 occasionally has it’s downfalls.
I speak, sadly, about the Jonathan Coulton show I wanted to go to on the 25th. Turns out they sell those alcoholic drink things there, therefore us children aren’t admitted in. Fiddlesticks.
On another note, today was the first day that I could actually sit on the computer guilt free. I can actually hold down a conversation and do the normal things I used to do on this box of mine, which to be completely honest, mostly consisted of sitting and browsing; nothing of actual importance. But it did show me that these last four weeks actually made an impact, and I had this urge to just get off the computer a lot of the time. At this point, I think I’ll try to limit my time to two hours a day, and fill the rest of the time with whatever game I’m trying to finish.
Speaking of games, Killer7 is brilliant. Took a little while to get used to, but now that I am, it’s great. I can easily sit down for a while and play it, even though it is pretty fucked up.
Might go out and buy “When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold” tomorrow. It’s a pretty kick ass album, and it’s only growing on me with time. Outside of that, I’ve really just kept the ol’ iPod on shuffle. That and watching diggnation. Can’t wait ’til June.
